⚙️ Basic Rust Server Configuration in Pterodactyl
This guide will help you set up your Rust server using the Pterodactyl panel.
1. Access the panel
Log in to your Pterodactyl panel with your credentials.
2. Main variables
In the variables or startup configuration section, review and adjust these settings:
- Server Name: The name players will see in the server list.
- Server Description: A short description of your server.
- Max Players: Maximum number of allowed players.
- Seed: Number to generate a random map.
- World Size: Map size (default is 4000).
3. Mods and plugins setup
If your server supports Oxide/uMod, you can install plugins in the /oxide/plugins folder.
4. Save and restart
Save your changes and restart the server to apply the configuration.
